with Matias

Hi
I’m Matias Garber, a therapist with 10 years of experience, offering a comprehensive approach that combines transformative tools for personal growth.
I support you on your journey to a more authentic and fulfilling life.

Approach
My approach integrates Nonviolent Communication (NVC) with a systemic perspective, fostering internal changes that transform your entire life system.
I view therapy as a process of:
UNLEARNING patterns and coping mechanisms
RE-CONNECTING with your inner wisdom
RECOVERING your own abilities
It’s a personalized path of empowerment, tailored to your needs.
Inner change that shapes outer reality.

We live lives full of “shoulds,” other people’s expectations, and mandates that pull us away from ourselves. I invite you to pause and take a moment to question those voices and explore your deepest desires. The next step is to build a life that truly resonates with your own truth. Because it’s not about simply fulfilling obligations—it’s about living. What may seem like an odyssey today is actually a profound journey of self-discovery, filled with fears and questions. You will learn to set healthy boundaries, listen to yourself with compassion, manage your time consciously, and find ways to recharge emotionally and mentally. I will help you reconnect with your priorities and discover what you truly want—beyond what you think you “should.” You, too, can live the life you dream of.
Can you relate?
* Do you constantly feel overwhelmed by your responsibilities?
* Do you find it difficult to disconnect, even during breaks?
* Do you get irritated easily, feel exhausted, or have lost motivation for activities you once enjoyed?
* Do you notice that few things excite you as much as they used to?
* Is your body showing stress through tension, insomnia, or physical discomfort?
If you recognize yourself in these experiences, you are not alone.
Acknowledging what’s happening is the first step toward regaining your energy, clarity, and well-being.
Outcomes you can expect
When you learn to manage stress and reconnect with your true needs, your entire system—body, mind, and emotions—begins to find relief.
In therapy, we will work so that you can:
* Recognize the early signs of stress before they overwhelm you.
*Strengthen your internal resources to respond with greater calm and resilience.
* Regain motivation, enjoyment, and a sense of meaning in your daily life.
* Learn to set healthy boundaries, prioritizing your well-being without guilt.
* Reconnect with a life rhythm that honors your time, values, and health.

David, 41, Los Angeles
"Now I know how to set boundaries and give myself space to rest without guilt."
Sonia, 43, Monterrey
"I always lived to meet other people's expectations, until I hit rock bottom. Therapy helped me question all of that and figure out what I really wanted. I'm so grateful."

Stress and burnout
Stress is the body’s natural response to situations we perceive as challenging or threatening.
In moderate amounts, it can motivate us to act or adapt.
But when stress becomes chronic and sustained
over time, it negatively affects our body, emotions, and relationships.
Burnout—or emotional exhaustion syndrome—is an extreme consequence of prolonged stress, especially in the workplace or caregiving roles.
It is characterized by profound fatigue, lack of motivation, irritability, and a sense of emptiness or internal disconnection.
Both stress and burnout are signals that something important needs attention.
They are not personal failings; rather, they are profound invitations to review the way we live, relate to others, and prioritize ourselves.
The good news is that with support and the right tools, it is possible to heal, regain your vitality, and build a more balanced, fulfilling life.
